Scarring

About removing scars, acne scarring, surgical scars etc.

Scars reside in the dermal tissue of the skin. To remove scars the layers of affected skin are removed so fresh undamaged tissue can regenerate. At Nlclinics we currently have 2 methods of removing deep tissue exfoliation, Derma Renew Dermabrasion and Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) Peel.

Derma Renew Dermabrasion

Derma Renew uses 2 main systems for removing scar tissue, Diamond Peel and Crystal Peel. Diamond Peel scratches away epidermal skin tissue used in shallow rejuvenation whereas, Crystal Peel is for deeper scars. The Crystal Peel probe fires sharp crystals at the skin physically removing Dermal skin tissue. Treatment is targeted on the affected area

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) Skin Peel

Skin Peel is treatment by layering strong Acid (TCA) on the affected area slowly removing scarred tissue. TCA Skin Peel is normally favourable for facial conditions such as Acne Scarring where a wide area is affected that must be rejuvenated. Skin Peel can be used over a wide area and can be slightly painful depending on the the depth of scarred tissue.
