The acid in the chemical peels brakes down the top layers of the skin peeling away these dead layers. This Allows new skin to form with more collagen making it firmer and healthier. As the top layers of skin are removed any damage in those layers are taken away. This includes damage caused by the sun, blemishes, pigmentation and hyperpigmentation. Chemical peals are non-invasive treatment and require little to no downtime for the the weaker peels but a longer period is needed for the stronger peels.
