Treatment Summary for DermaPen Microneedling

Microneedling is treatment which is known to help remove fine lines wrinkles by stimulating blood flow and collagen growth. During the treatment our Therapist will move a small probe over the skin which has a tiny needle which punctures the skin. These small puncture marks trigger regeneration of tissue fibres, collagen and soft tissue which in turn brings blood flow to the affected area.

What is DermaPen Microneedling

DermaPen is a skin micro-needling treatment with minimum downtime which promotes healing and natural collagen production in the skin to improve the appearance of scars, acne scarring, stretch marks, wrinkles, pigmentation and rejuvenate the skin.

How does Microneedling work?

A DermaPen works through a method of puncturing the skin through a spring-loaded automated function, the pen uses microneedles to move up and down across the skin, puncturing small holes as it moves. The internal mechanism causes the stimulation of healthy collagen and the small punctures in the skin to allow for nutrients to be absorbed into the deep layers of the skin.
