Dermabrasion is an exfoliating technique that uses a rotating instrument to remove the outer layers of skin, usually on the face. Initially, you’ll feel a light scratching sensation because the crystals make contact with the skin. As the treatments continue, this experience compares to a deep massage. Mild redness may occur for 1/2 hour to at least one day depending upon the aggressiveness of the program.
Dermabrasion treatment sessions usually last about 10 to 30 minutes. During your session we concentrate on the most affected areas, but time may be given to other areas of concern.
