• Are ZO Skin Peels painful?

  ZO Skin Peels will cause irritation and can be painful during the treatment. The deeper the peel the more layers of chemical are applied. For Anti-Ageing treatments in order to target the dermal layers where the wrinkles and fine-lines reside, it is necessary for a deeper application. However, for Stimulator peels we only target the epidermal layers of the skin which is a lighter, less intensive, application.

• How long do results last?

  The skin is a living organism. A normal skin cycle is 3 months, however, there is a big dependence on external factors. Sunlight exposure, can play a drastic part in aging, which is why in order to get the best long lasting results it is important to compliment any treatment with the appropriate after-care routine such as, ZO Skin Block and Daily Power Defence.

• Is there any downtime? What happens after a ZO Skin Peel?

  There is downtime from any Skin Peel for a week or so. The deeper the peel, the longer the downtime. After treatment your skin will feel itchy. Within a few days you will start to notice skin exfoliation taking place, which can last around 5-7 days. During this time the skin will be sensitive and extra care must be taken to protect the skin from sun exposure and physical contact.
