IPL & QPL
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light technology. IPL hair removal devices apply very gentle pulses of light to the hair root. Unlike lasers, an IPL device sends out more than one wavelength of pulsating light. It can treat a range of skin conditions at the same time.
QPL, Quick Pulsed Light, is the newest technology, adopting the same method in hair removal however producing flashes of light every 0.5s reducing treatment time significantly compared to IPL.
